Acclaimed vintner and sommelier Rajat Parr has been making wine from our grapes for years. We were fortunate to partner with him to produce our first vintage--the RAG Vineyards Rouge, a blend of Grenache and Mouvedre that grows in our Portrero Vineyard where the vines are dry farmed and head trained. Raj's vast knowledge of the ancient oceanic terroir that nurtures the life cycle of these grapes informed the precision of every step in the winemaking process, from harvest to fermentation to bottling. The end product is a bright, lively red blend with slight minerality. Best served chilled, this wonderfully smooth and natural red wine can be enjoyed any time of day and with any meal.
